Barton arrested over assult

Joey Barton was refused bail today after appearing in court charged with assault.
He was arrested in Liverpool in the early hours of Thursday and charged with common assault and affray. He was already on bail for two other alleged offences.
Magistrate Carol Myers told Liverpool Magistrates’ Court there was a risk of Barton offending again, adding: “I also have to consider the safety of the public - you lashed out indiscriminately.”

I luv Joey. I wish he wasn’t locked up, I luv watching him play.. he’s so hot! I hope he doesn’t end up in prison over this

Joey isn’t very bright so it’s not really unexpected. But maybe, after a spell behind bars he’ll concentrate on his football.
