Joey Barton has been jailed for 6 months as a result of a bust-up outside a McDonald’s restaurant on December 27 2007.
He spent new year in custody over the same incident.

Barton has said that he does not question the fans’ loyalty. The statement comes ahead of the midweek clash with Arsenal.
The 25-year-old has said his comments were meant to rally the team and fans for their weekend fixture at Blackburn – a match they lost 3-1 – and was not meant to offend them.
Barton has been “shocked” by the behaviour of Magpies supporters – especially their treatment of manager Sam Allardyce.
“I have not yet seen the famous crowd I was expecting to hear get behind us,” said Barton.
