Joey Barton

Joey Barton has been at Newcastle for almost 3 years now, but his career there has yet to take off. Since he has been at Newcastle he has suffered 3 bad foot injuries that have limited his first team football to almost nothing.

Joey was bought in the summer of 2007 for £5.7 million, but has yet to repay his value to the club. However in the last few games since he returned from his latest injury his obvious class shone through. He will be hoping he can do big things for the club when they return to the Premiership next season.
